ICLAS GVM at a glance
ICLAS is a highly specialised hospital of the GVM Care & Research group, accredited with the Italian National Health Service. Its main areas include cardiac surgery, orthopaedics, plastic and reconstructive surgery, adult congenital heart disease (GUCH), diabetic foot care and treatment of severe obesity.

Can I book without knowing the discharge date?
Yes. Book the nights you are sure of and contact us to extend – if the apartment is available, we extend your stay on the same terms.

No, we are independent, but we regularly host relatives and patients of ICLAS and know their needs well.
Can I arrive late or at unusual times?
Yes, write to us: whenever possible we arrange a check-in that fits the hospital’s schedule.
Is ICLAS hospital the former Villa Azzurra clinic?
Yes: ICLAS in Rapallo (GVM Care & Research) is the former Villa Azzurra clinic, with entrances at Via Mario Puchoz 25 and Via Cabruna 21. The apartment is at Via Mario Puchoz 23, practically next door.
Is there a bus stop near the hospital?
Yes: the “Via Puchoz / Castellino” bus stop is a few steps from both the hospital and the apartment.
